1. Acceptance of these terms

By using freeverse.co.za (the "Site"), including the savings calculator and contract signing simulation, you agree to these terms and to our Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. Who we are

The Site is operated by Free Verse Tech (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. We are currently in a private pre-launch pilot; the tools on this Site are demonstrations of the platform we are building, not the live product itself.

3. The savings calculator

The savings calculator provides an illustrative, non-binding estimate based on figures you enter. It is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice or a quote. Actual results on the live platform may differ. If you choose to share your estimate along with your brand name and email, we'll use that to follow up about the pilot — see our Privacy Policy for details.

4. The contract signing simulation

The contract signing simulation lets you edit and "sign" a sample creator services agreement so you can see how the platform's contract flow will work. It is a demonstration only. No legally binding agreement is created between you, Free Verse, or any third party by using this tool, regardless of the terms you type into it or whether you click "Sign simulated contract".

If you provide your email, we will send a PDF copy of the simulated contract you created to that address, along with information about our pilot and platform. By providing your email and completing the tool, you consent to receiving that email. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing hello@freeverse.co.za.

5. Feedback

Any rating or comment you submit through the post-simulation feedback survey may be used by us, in aggregate or anonymised form, to improve the Site and the platform. Please don't include personal or confidential information about third parties in free-text comments.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site to submit false, misleading, or malicious content;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems;
• Use any tool on the Site to impersonate a real brand, person, or company without authorisation;
• Scrape, harvest, or resell data from the Site.

7. No warranty

The Site and its tools are provided "as is", during a pre-launch pilot phase, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free Verse Tech (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on any estimate produced by the savings calculator or any terms drafted within the contract simulation tool.

9. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on the Site belong to Free Verse Tech (Pty) Ltd or its licensors. The sample clauses in the contract simulation tool are provided for demonstration purposes and may be edited freely within the tool, but the underlying template remains our intellectual property.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves through and beyond the pilot phase. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
